West Bengal elections: CPI(M), CPI announce candidates for Nandigram, Rejinagar bypolls

The CPI(M) and CPI have named their candidates for upcoming West Bengal by-elections. Advocate Sayeed Asad Ali will contest from Rejinagar for the CPI(M) party. Shanti Gopal Giri is the CPI's nominee for the Nandigram constituency. Voting is scheduled for October sixth, with results announced on October ninth. These bypolls were necessitated by recent resignations from the Assembly.
