West Bengal CM vows to protect refugees, expedite CAA and identify infiltrators during census

West Bengal will expedite CAA certificate applications and protect religious minorities fleeing persecution. Infiltrators will not receive citizen benefits, and free food will not be provided. The state government seeks Union Home Ministry approval to deploy District Magistrates for faster processing. Data collected during the census self-enumeration will remain confidential and secure.
