A young student has developed an energy-harvesting system called VERDA. This technology captures power from everyday movements for cleaner energy generation. He is a finalist in the 2026 3M Young Scientist Challenge competition. Ahmed will work with a scientist to further develop his innovative project. He hopes to become an inventor focused on environmental protection technologies.
