Tarun Tejpal should have surrendered before moving SC against conviction: Goa government

The Goa government argued Tarun Tejpal should surrender before filing his appeal. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta highlighted the seriousness of the matter before the court. Kapil Sibal countered that Tejpal has time to surrender as granted by the High Court. Tejpal's appeal was filed after the Bombay High Court rejected his conviction stay. The Supreme Court will pass an appropriate order after hearing both sides.
