TMC name-symbol row: SC asks EC to give time frame for final decision

The Supreme Court has requested the Election Commission to outline a timeframe for resolving the dispute. Former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee challenged the freezing of the TMC's name and symbol. Senior advocate Kapil Sibal argued the process was flawed due to the ongoing election timelines. The court has scheduled Banerjee's plea for a hearing on September 28.
