Sukhbir Singh Badal declared stable after undergoing surgery following Nanded gurdwara attack

Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal underwent surgery after a kirpan attack. Doctors repaired a tendon injury and nerve damage during the procedure. He is now stable and expected to be discharged from the hospital today. Badal will likely be flown back to Punjab later this afternoon.
