SC seeks Kerala response on death row convict's transfer plea

The Supreme Court has sought Kerala government's response on a plea. A death row convict seeks transfer from a Kerala jail to Assam. His wife and aged parents currently reside in Assam. Assam will consider the request after Kerala permits the transfer. The apex court issued notice to the Kerala government for its response.
