SC rejects PIL challenging 2018 amendment to SC/ST Act; declines plea to revisit 2020 judgement

The Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to entertain a PIL challenging the constitutional validity of the 2018 amendment to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, which reinstated restrictions on anticipatory bail.
