SC refuses to entertain PIL for mandatory biometric attendance system in schools

The Supreme Court declined a petition for mandatory student biometric attendance. Justices Narasimha and Aradhe directed the petitioner to approach the high court. This court was not inclined to entertain the plea filed under Article 32. The petitioner also sought limits on coaching hours and a code of conduct. The plea aimed to dismantle dummy educational institutions and curb misleading advertising.
