SC accepts CBI's clean chit to former PM Manmohan Singh

The Supreme Court accepted the CBI's decision to close the coal block allocation case. A bench quashed a special court's order summoning former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The court found no compelling reason for the trial court to reject the closure report. The bench allowed Singh's appeal challenging the summons issued in 2015. The matter was closed on merits after accepting the CBI's closure reports.
