Risk of lake burst near China-Nepal border disaster site wanes

The risk of a glacial lake bursting near the China-Nepal border has eased after satellite images showed its size shrinking as water slowly flowed through. Chinese authorities said the lake measured 99,000 square metres on Saturday. However, another larger lake remains under monitoring, while seven people have died and 554 remain missing in China.
