Nepals mountain tsunami: The 200-km trail of water, rock and destruction

Nepal's flash flood death toll has reached 469 after a glacier collapse unleashed torrents of water. Nearly 1,000 people remain missing in Nepal and neighboring Tibet following the disaster. A massive glacier section broke free, plunging into a valley and triggering a devastating surge downstream. The flood wiped out settlements and damaged vital infrastructure, including hydropower projects and border crossings.
