Nag Panchami 2026: Bhog, mantra, timings and all you need to know about puja, rituals, significance, mythology and regional celebrations

On August 17, 2026, devotees across India will celebrate Nag Panchami, a day dedicated to worshiping Nag Devta to invoke blessings for their families. This significant event occurs during the Panchami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the Shravana month. Rituals include prayer, fasting, and traditional offerings to serpent deities. Notably, Gujarat will celebrate it a bit later, on September 1, 2026.
