NRC will be 100 times worse, has caused immense trouble to minorities, migrants: AIMIM chief Owaisi

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi stated a nationwide NRC would be 100 times worse. He cited the Assam NRC's immense trouble for minorities and vulnerable groups. Owaisi questioned the practicality of forcing citizens to prove their nationality. He also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah's role in the 2019 anti-CAA/NRC movement. The Union Minister mentioned implementing NRC in Manipur before elections.
