Meet Teodor Zajder, the 9-year-old Polish speedcuber who became the first person to solve a 33 Rubik's Cube in under 3 seconds

Nine-year-old Polish speedcuber Teodor Zajder set a new record for the fastest time to solve a 3x3x3 rotating puzzle cube. He completed the solve in 2.76 seconds at the GLS Big Cubes Gdask 2026 event in Gdask, Poland, on February 8, 2026. Zajder became the first person to break the three-second barrier for the puzzle. His performance surpassed the previous record of 3.05 seconds, achieved by Xuanyi Geng at the Shenyang Spring 2025 event in Shenyang, Liaoning, China, on April 13, 2025. Zajders result marked a new milestone in competitive speedcubing and placed his name in the record books.
