MeT forecasts heavy rain in three Himachal districts over next 2 days; orange alert issued

An orange alert warns of heavy rainfall in three Himachal Pradesh districts over two days. Torrential rains have already caused 118 road closures and impacted water supply projects. Since monsoon onset, 68 people have died in rain-related incidents across the state. The state has suffered significant financial losses amounting to Rs 835 crore. A wet spell is predicted to continue in Himachal Pradesh until August fifteenth.
