Maharashtra resident doctors to go on indefinite strike from August 5

Starting August 5, resident doctors throughout Maharashtra will embark on an indefinite strike, maintaining emergency services around the clock but ceasing regular duties. The strike is aimed at opposing the Maharashtra Medical Council's recent proposal to authorize homoeopathy practitioners to register.
