India weather news: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to extremely heavy rainfall in several parts of India on September 24, with southern states, along with Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Odisha, likely to witness intense rain. Several regions may also experience thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds and squally conditions. Delhi, however, is unlikely to receive rainfall on September 24, with the weather agency issuing no warning for the national capital.
