India must sell 'peace of mind': Anand Mahindra wants Goa, Vizag to become India's next medical tourism hub

Anand Mahindra has called for India to focus on trust and patient experience rather than low treatment costs alone to strengthen its medical tourism industry. He suggested Goa and Visakhapatnam (Vizag) could become the next medical tourism hubs by combining their flight connectivity and hospitality infrastructure with world-class hospitals and specialists. He also urged emerging cities such as Amravati and GIFT City to plan health districts, while stressing that building a strong medical ecosystem could take 15 years.
