Incentive scheme on the cards for critical mineral recycling: G Kishan Reddy

The government is prioritizing demands from the material recycling sector and aims to fast-track reforms. A new incentive scheme for recycling critical minerals is in the pipeline. The minister stressed the importance of adopting innovative technologies and promoting environmental sustainability in recycling practices. Additionally, the association advocated for the elimination of the Pre-shipment Inspection Certificate for metal scrap imports, along with the removal of import duties on aluminium scrap.
