A painting bought for just $50 at a Hamptons barn sale has been identified as Emily Carrs 1912 work Masset, Q.C.I. The artwork was later authenticated by experts and sold for C$290,000 at a Toronto auction, above its presale estimate. Including buyer fees, the final price reached C$349,250 in total.
