ICAI prepares reforms for creating larger accounting firm networks; proposals expected in two months

ICAI plans to propose reforms within two months to help Indian accounting firms scale up and compete globally. The proposals include recognising aggregation structures, allowing capital infusion, easing rules on non-assurance services, and expanding professional networks to include lawyers, engineers, architects and other professionals.
