Guwahati goes the distance, launches international marathon with Rs 1.25 crore purse

Guwahati will host its first international marathon on February 7, 2027. This event aims to position Assam as a global sporting destination. Around 12,000 participants are expected from India and overseas. The marathon offers diverse race categories and a substantial prize purse.
