Govt rolls out GOBARdhan rules with assured CBG offtake, 10-year price support

The governments Rs 23,731-crore GOBARdhan scheme aims to give Indias CBG industry a more predictable business model, with assured offtake, a government-backed price for at least 10 years and capital support. The framework seeks to address buyer and financing concerns, while turning agricultural waste, cattle dung and other organic waste into energy.
