Budget 2027-28 process begins October 12 with month-long pre-budget meetings

Pre-budget meetings for the Union Budget 2027-28 will commence on October 12 and continue until November 13. These discussions aim to finalize the Revised Estimate for 2026-27 and the Budget Estimate for 2027-28. Ministries are required to submit necessary details by October 6 to facilitate these meetings.
