Bengal CID grills TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee's close aide in land fraud case for around 10 hours

Sumit Roy, an aide to TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, was questioned for ten hours by the West Bengal CID. This interrogation occurred in connection with a government land fraud case in Paschim Medinipur district. The Supreme Court has granted Roy interim protection from arrest until August 14. He must cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation and remain available for questioning.
