AMCA tender deadline extended by two months to October 30

The bid submission deadline for India's Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft programme has been extended. Prospective bidders requested additional time to prepare and submit their detailed proposals. This mega project's tender was initially issued in May for indigenous fifth-generation fighter jet development. Several Indian firms are competing for this significant defence manufacturing initiative. The Aeronautical Development Agency will execute the programme through industry partnerships.
