7th grader writes goal of becoming a world record holder, achieves it months later by catching giant fish

Arizona student Madilyn Davis completed an unusual pair of summer goals she had written down in sixth grade: petting a capybara and becoming a world record holder. After checking off the first goal at a petting zoo, Madilyn caught a giant muskie while fishing with her father in Wisconsin. The catch was later certified as a junior muskie-length world record.
