33-hr Mumbai-Pune Expressway disruption: 1L motorists to get Rs 5.16 cr toll refund, says MSRDC

Motorists caught in a massive traffic jam on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will receive a Rs 5.16 crore toll refund. A gas tanker accident on February 3 caused a 33-hour standstill. Toll collection was suspended, but some FASTag transactions were processed. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation will credit the amounts back to affected vehicle owners in the coming days.
