1965 Indo-Pak war hero Flight Lieutenant A T Cooke dies, IAF pays tribute

Flight Lieutenant Alfred Tyrone Cooke, a Vir Chakra awardee, has passed away in Delhi. He was honored for his valor during the 1965 India-Pakistan War. His legendary dogfight over Kalaikunda was a masterclass in aggressive air combat. The Indian Air Force paid tribute to the veteran air warrior. His memory will continue to inspire future generations of Air Warriors.
