As Maharashtra anti-conversion law sets in, small churches opt for 'disclaimer' forms

Small churches are asking worshippers to sign self-declaration forms before prayer meetings. This action stems from concerns over the state's new anti-conversion law. The law imposes severe penalties for forced religious conversions and inducement. Pastors report increased attacks and police inquiries against Christian prayer groups. Established churches, however, do not seem to face these particular challenges.
