Mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test for Madhya Pradesh Educators

The Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Public Instruction has mandated that all in-service teachers appointed between 1998 and 2010 must take the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) if they haven't passed it yet. This decision follows a Supreme Court ruling, eliminating the option to opt-out. The exam will be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, raising concerns about transparency as teachers will serve as invigilators. Both government and private school teachers are eligible to apply, with the application deadline set for October 5. This article provides essential details about eligibility criteria, application processes, and exam center allocations.
