Touchscreen MacBook, HomePad, Apple TV are coming, but probably not today
Macworld Its Surprise and Shine day today! Its been previously reported that Apple has a release schedule chock-full of products for the rest of this year. It starts today with new iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watches. What about the other rumored products, like the touchscreen MacBook, or the updated HomePod and the home hub? Well, before you shrug and exclaim, Thats it? at the end of todays event, you should know thats not it, according to a post by Bloombergs Mark Gurman. IF you don't see the Apple TV, HomePod mini, home display and touch MacBook today, don't worry. It's only September. Mark Gurman (@markgurman) September 9, 2026 If youre not familiar with Gurmans work, he has very good sources and his reporting tends to be spot on. Of all the people who report Apple leaks, hes the most reliable. So while Gurman doesnt directly say it, the touchscreen MacBook , HomePod mini, home hub (that he called home display), and Apple TV will be coming later this year. Apple has held October and November releases before, so its not unprecedented. By the sound of his post, Gurman likely knows more about these releases, but hes going to save reporting on those for later. After all, he has to save some surprises for his weekly newsletter so youll want to read it. Those are products for another day. We have Surprise and Shine today, and you can track the event through the Macworld live blog , if you are unable to watch it.
