Salary earned abroad, credited to NRE account: Does that make it taxable in India? ITAT ruling explained

A Bengaluru ITAT ruling says foreign salary credited to an Indian NRE account cannot alone make it taxable in India. The taxpayers overseas employment, passport and bank records were considered, while the case was sent back for fresh assessment.
