Investing in India from abroad? SEBI proposes digital KYC for NRIs, OCIs without physical presence in India

SEBI has proposed allowing NRIs, OCIs and eligible foreign nationals in FATF-compliant countries to complete digital KYC for Indian securities investments without travelling to India. The proposal also seeks to make KYC records portable.
