Indian Bank plans 100 new branches, 2,500 new recruits as it looks to strengthen presence in central, western India

Indian Bank plans to open 100 branches and hire 2,500 employees in FY2026-27, focusing on expanding its presence in central and western India. The lender also targets lower NPAs and expects its gold loan book to cross 1.5 lakh crore.
