'Rarest of rare': UP court sentences man to death for killing wife and three sons

A court in Kushinagar sentenced Jitendra Kushwaha to death for murdering his wife and three sons. The judge deemed the brutal 2021 murders as falling into the arest of rare category. Kushwaha attacked his sleeping family after his wife refused him money for alcohol. Family testimonies and evidence established his guilt beyond reasonable doubt for the crime. The court found life imprisonment inadequate for the premeditated and violent act.
