Tourism revival in J&K: All tourist spots expected to reopen by May; 9 new destinations planned, says CM Omar Abdullah

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah announced that all tourist destinations closed after the April 22, 2025, Pahalgam terror attack are expected to reopen by May. The administration is focusing on infrastructure development and repeat tourism to revive the sector, with plans to open nine new destinations.
