Aadhaar authentication for LPG subsidy: Will your gas supply be stopped if you fail to authenticate UID before October 1, 2026?

From October 1, 2026, all domestic LPG consumers will need to undergo Biometric Aadhaar Authentication to access subsidies. This process is designed to ensure that subsidies are provided solely to qualifying households. Authentication can be done through delivery personnel, distributor outlets, or mobile apps provided by oil marketing firms.
