$100 million mystery donation to Princess Margaret Hospital: Anonymous donor gives biggest cancer gift in Canadian history, but that may not be the greatest part

In a remarkable act of generosity, an anonymous benefactor has gifted $100 million to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, marking the largest donation in its history. But the most important part of the donation is that the donor has not placed restrictions on how the money should be spent. The donation also prompted the foundation to launch a $2.5-billion fundraising campaign called Carry the Fire.
