UPI hits 24 billion transactions in September; NPCI data shows 1.8% monthly dip amid MDR concerns

UPI transactions in September reached 24.07 billion, a 1.8% decline from August, but marked a 23% year-on-year growth. The total value was 29.37 lakh crore, with an 18% annual increase, while daily averages stood at 802 million transactions valued at 97,913 crore.
