Can a daughter inherit fathers ancestral property after mother remarries? Madras High Court gives key ruling

The Madras HC has ruled that a mothers remarriage cannot by itself deprive her daughter of inheritance in her late fathers joint family property. The court said the old legal disqualification applied to the remarried widow only.
