Vijay Sethupathi breaks his no-cameo rule for Rajinikanth

Vijay Sethupathi accepted a rare cameo in Jailer 2 out of respect for Rajinikanth. He avoids special appearances, which can affect his lead roles. Sethupathi also stars in Mysskin's upcoming film titled Train. Jailer 2's audio launch reportedly considered Malaysia but Rajinikanth declined. The highly anticipated film is scheduled for an October 2026 release.
