Your morning tea or coffee may seem harmless, but drinking it extremely hot could carry an unexpected cancer risk, new research involving nearly 1 million adults suggests

Recent findings reveal that consuming extremely hot beverages may increase the likelihood of developing esophageal cancer. A comprehensive study conducted in the UK identified a greater risk for individuals who regularly enjoy very hot drinks, particularly in association with squamous cell carcinoma. Interestingly, those who consume six or more hot beverages daily showed further elevated risk.
