Billionaire Michael Moritz and his wife, artist Harriet Heyman, are offering up to $150 million through their Crankstart foundation to find bold ideas that could improve life in San Francisco. Their global Boundless San Francisco competition is seeking solutions to challenges including the citys housing affordability crisis, homelessness, public safety, transportation and post-pandemic economic decline. Up to three winning organisations could receive as much as $50 million each to turn their ideas into lasting projects.
