US fails to make top 25 in global math rankings as China takes No. 1 spot; Asian education systems dominate, claiming seven out of top 10 spots

Recent rankings from the Programme for International Student Assessment reveal that the US is placed 27th in mathematics. Asian education systems, particularly from China and Singapore, continue to excel, taking the top two spots. The findings show that only a small percentage of US students achieve high proficiency levels in math. In comparison, several East Asian countries have significantly higher proficiency rates among their students.
