Trump plugs $54 billion natural gas project in Alaska, flanked by a senator in a tight race

US President Trump announced South Korea's intention to invest $54 billion in an Alaska natural gas project. The project aims to connect Alaska's North Slope to a liquefied natural gas export terminal. While Alaskan Senator Dan Sullivan supports the initiative, South Korean officials remain cautious about the investment's commercial viability. Trump seeks to bolster Republican candidates facing competitive races ahead of the midterm elections.
