The Nobel Prize week is kicking off in Stockholm with the medicine award for understanding immune system response

This year's Nobel Prizes will commence on Monday with the medicine prize awarded at the Karolinska Institute. Last year, three scientists won the medicine prize for their work on the immune system. Their research has been crucial for understanding autoimmune diseases like Type 1 diabetes and lupus.
