Steven Spielberg bought a 2.8-acre Los Angeles equestrian estate for $5.75 million in 1999; 27 years later, the never-lived-in property returned to market for $29.9 million

Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw are putting a very specific piece of their Los Angeles history on the market. The couple is asking $29.9 million for Dogwood, a 2.8-acre estate in the Santa Monica Mountains area that they bought in 1999 for $5.75 million. Dogwood has a large main house, multiple barns, a riding arena and a separate guesthouse. This was built around horses first, with the residence forming part of a much larger private compound.
