Sports Ministry approves 246-strong contingent of support staff for Asiad

The Sports Ministry has greenlit a massive Indian delegation for the Asian Games, comprising 768 members, including 503 athletes and 246 officials. The athletics team is the largest contingent at 79 members plus 31 support personnel. India is poised to showcase its talents in 36 sports, with the opening ceremony set for September 19 in Japan.
